At the Annual Meeting of Bridgnorth Town Council, held on 26th May 2020, Councillor Kirstie Hurst-Knight was elected as Town Mayor for 2020/2021.
Kirstie has been a Councillor for three years and follows in the footsteps of her father who was Town Mayor in 1997.
Her chosen charities for this year are Bridgnorth Community Trust and Innage Lane Day Services.
Alongside Kirstie, Councillor Sarah Barlow was elected as Deputy Mayor. Sarah has served on the Council for five years and works at Oldbury Wells School.
