Bridgnorth Town Council has collated the following information for services and support available during the Coronavirus outbreak
Local resident, Mrs Val Hayward, has recently stepped up as a Volunteer Co-ordinator hoping to engage more residents in supporting the activities of the Town Council and is looking for others to join her.
For her first assignment, Val has offered to lead a small band of our own Santa’s helpers to help with the smooth running of Bridgnorth’s Christmas Lights switch-on event on Friday 22nd November.
There are a number of support roles that can make a significant difference to the experience. These include providing support to visiting traders who will be setting up in the High Street in the afternoon, providing information to visitors throughout the course of the event and acting as points of contact from lunchtime to 8pm.
Refreshments will be provided.
If you are interested in joining Val for this event or any future events or activities, please provide some contact details to us at the Town Council which will be passed to Val. She can then discuss how you might be able to help and co-ordinate the effort with you directly.
You can; telephone the Town Council offices on 01746 762231; email us at firstname.lastname@example.org; or pop in and see us at College House, St Leonards Close between 10 am and 2pm on weekdays.
