Bridgnorth Town Council has collated the following information for services and support available during the Coronavirus outbreak
Do you have few hours to spare each week or month? Do you want to become part of the Bridgnorth community working together?
Why not be part of and work with the outdoors and maintenance team in the Cemetery, Severn Park, Castle Grounds, outdoor sapces or in the town buildings?
Plans are underway to consider our community entry to the Heart of England in Bloom in 2015. Whilst much of the work is the day to day work of Town Council employees and other areas of the community a few more hands are always welcome! VIf you would like to volunteer some time to help in one of our parks, to tend the vegetable patch or to paint fences or railings, or can offer your carpentry craftsmen skills to the town, please get in touch with Barry Ince, Outdoors and Properties Manager on 01746 762231. Health and Safety training will be given to volunteers as will training on the use of small tools but volunteers would need to provide safety boots and suitable clothing. (Please note where specialist training or qualifications are needed volunteers will not be able to carry out an area of work).
Following the success of last year’s busy schedule of events a whole host are planned for 2015. If you would like to join the Community Events Working Party and become part of the future of the community events programme in Bridgnorth please call Ashley on 01746 762231.
