Bridgnorth Town Council has collated the following information for services and support available during the Coronavirus outbreak
On Sunday 5th October the Rotary Club of Bridgnorth will hold its second Sponsored Walk on the steps and streets of Bridgnorth.
The walk will start at 2pm at the Town Hall and progress to Low Town then returning to High Town then going back to Low Town and so on, using ten different sets of steps.
This year the main beneficiaries will be Cameron’s Fund- Asthma UK (70%) and the residue to Rotary Charity account for other charitable good causes.
Cameron’s Fund was set up locally following the sad loss of Cameron Brown due to asthma. His parents Ashley and Gemma have since tirelessly worked to support Asthma UK in their effort to minimise effects of this condition for the future. This year we want to support their efforts with this event.
The walk route is very varied, there are constantly changing views as the walker moves through the historic parts of Bridgnorth – of course there are over 800 steps to climb up on the way, which provides the walkers challenge for this sponsored event.
If you wish to walk please either contact by email [email protected]
or ring 01746 766245.
We will register your entry, send you sponsor forms and walker numbers.
