Bridgnorth Town Council has collated the following information for services and support available during the Coronavirus outbreak
The Shop Grant Scheme has been established to directly assist business in Bridgnorth to improve the frontage of their properties and provide equipment and fixture and fittings
Whether you are looking to:
- Install a new shop front
- The Enhancement of an existing shop front within a conservation area (This is in relation to buildings that require Planning Permission or Listed Building Consent – capital expenditure can be used for refurbishment works that enhance and extend the useful life. Appropriate consent will be required).
- Improve access
- Install new signage
- Install lighting
- Put in security measures
- Purchase new electrical appliance and equipment
- New fixtures and fittings
Grants can contribute up to 50% of a total eligible project cost up to a maximum grant of £5,000. Businesses (which includes independent retail, cafes and takeaways, and other independent business based in shop front ground floor premises) situated in the Bridgnorth Parish are eligible to apply. These awards are required to be match funded by applicant.
