Bridgnorth Town Council responds to Shropshire Council on Planning Proposals
Posted Tuesday February 5th, 2019, 3:20 pm
Bridgnorth Town Council recently met and agreed its response to Shropshire Council’s strategic planning proposals (where they think housing and employment sites might be located in the future).
The response was prepared, in part, following a number of workshops held by Bridgnorth Town Council in December / January. The workshops were attended by representatives of local schools, housing associations, businesses, Bridgnorth residents, residents of neighbouring parishes and councillors from neighbouring parishes, along with others. Please see our full response here:
The closing date for consultation is 8th February and individuals are encouraged to respond directly. You do not need to answer the entire questionnaire just those points that you might have a view on.
There was a presentation by Shropshire Council at the Castle Hall Community Centre in mid –January attended by over 200 people. Those present raised a number of issues however, please do not think that the questions posed at the end of the presentation was the consultation. If you expressed a view at that meeting please be sure to register it formally - details of how to do that can be found here https://shropshire.gov.uk/get-involved/local-plan-review-preferred-sites-consultation/
