Town Council staff are responsible for the overall administration of the Council's activities, services and records.
From a total of twenty-five staff, the Town Council is administered under the leadership of the Town Clerk from the offices at College House, St Leonard's Close. Roles include: P.A to the Town Clerk and Town Mayor/Events Administrator, Finance/HR/Administration Assistant, Planning/Cemetery/Public Conveniences Administrator, Property and Grounds Administrator and a Receptionist/Bookings Clerk.
Direct Labour Force:
There is a Direct Labour Force of nine permanent staff , who are based at the Town Cemetery and managed by the Outdoors and Property Manager. They are responsible for grave digging, general Cemetery maintenance and caring for all the town's play areas, parks and open spaces. This also includes the maintenance of all Town Council owned property.
Other Town Council Staff:
There is a member of staff who works as the Curator of the Town Hall with a part-time assistant. The Town Council also employs a Caretaker for the Castle Hall.
The Town Council run the CCTV in Bridgnorth. Three part-time members of staff and several volunteers man the CCTV suite throughout the week.
