At ameeting of the Town Council held on 15 December 2009, Councillor Mrs Val Gill was appointed as the Mayor of Bridgnorth and Mrs Connie Baines was appointed as Deputy Mayor.

The Annual Town Meeting will take place on Tuesday 27 April 2010 at 7pm at St. Mary's Bluecoat School, The Grove, Bridgnorth under the Chairmanship of the Mayor, Councillor Mrs Val Gill. All electors of Bridgnorth Town are invited to take part.
